Partnership working and engagement with professionals from other disciplines is the cornerstone of delivering comprehensive care that addresses the varying and complex needs of the people we see. As such Insight has built close alliances with the statutory and voluntary sector agencies in the areas where we work.

Courses currently available

Drug and Alcohol Awareness Training for Professionals

Face-to-face training focusing on:

– substances and their effects
– identifying substance use
– the impact of substance use on family, friends and the community
– how to have a difficult conversation
– the impact of stigma

Benzodiazepine Training for Professionals

A free online course for professionals focusing on benzodiazepines (also known as “benzos). Benzodiazepines are a type of sedative medicine that can be helpful for the short-term management of symptoms of anxiety and insomnia. Tragically, the number of deaths related to illicit benzos has increased significantly in recent years.
