Hi, my name is Ben, and I have worked within the Youth Justice Service (YJS), supporting young people on court orders by offering guidance and support to help them navigate their challenges and make positive changes. I also deliver workshops and training on substance misuse, coping strategies, and building resilience. These sessions are designed to empower young people with the tools they need for a healthier future. My work takes me across various settings, including schools, the Youth Justice Centre, the Youth Adolescent Service, Youth Hubs, Social Services, Early Help, and Community Outreach. I also provide professional training and sexual health advice (C-Card) to young people across Haringey. Empowering young people to make a positive difference in their lives is what drives me every day!

My name is Jeanine, and I am a Children, Young People, and Family Worker at Insight Platform. I spend much of my time in schools across the borough and serve as the designated mental health lead for our team. I’m responsible for overseeing and promoting mental health initiatives, and support services. I strive to create a healthy, supportive environment for all children, young people, and families accessing our services, working to reduce stigma, improve well-being, and foster a positive atmosphere.

Hello, I’m Ozgul, I’m a Children, Young People, and Families Worker at Insight Platform. My focus is on supporting young people and their families affected by substance use. I collaborate with schools in Haringey, including Highgate Wood, Hornsey School for Girls, Mulberry Academy Woodside, and Harris Academy. Through workshops, assemblies, and one-on-one sessions, I educate students on the impact of substance use on both physical and mental health. I also conduct training for professionals to help them recognize substance use signs and effectively support the young people in their care. Additionally, I provide essential support to parents and family members navigating the challenges of a loved one’s substance use.
