Drug and Alcohol Awareness Training for Professionals

Face-to-face training focusing on:

– substances and their effects
– identifying substance use
– the impact of substance use on family, friends and the community
– how to have a difficult conversation
– the impact of stigma

Benzodiazepine Training for Professionals

A free online course for professionals focusing on benzodiazepines (also known as “benzos). Benzodiazepines are a type of sedative medicine that can be helpful for the short-term management of symptoms of anxiety and insomnia. Tragically, the number of deaths related to illicit benzos has increased significantly in recent years.
